Most people think SEO is complicated. Here's the basics in 2 minutes. SEO is just making sure Google understands what your website is about, so it shows it to the right people at the right time. Two things make the biggest difference: 1. The right keywords Keywords are the words your future clients actually type in the Google search bar when they need what you offer. Not what you think they search (ex: accounting services or financial solutions), but what they actually search (ex: accountant for small business in Canterbury or tax filing help for freelancers in Manchester). The trick most people miss: be specific. "Therapist" is too broad. "Anxiety therapist in Lakeview, Chicago" is what gets you found by someone ready to book. Go to Google, start typing your service, and look at what auto-fills. Those are real searches from real people, that's your starting point. 2. Copy that uses those keywords naturally Once you know what people search, those words need to show up on your website: in your headlines, your page titles, your service descriptions. Written the way a real person talks, but with intention (Not stuffed in awkwardly here and there). Google reads your page like a reader would. If it's clear, specific, and uses the right words, your website shows up. If it's vague and full of fluff, it won't. No one types "reach your next level" or "become empowered" when they're looking for a business coach. They type "business coach for consultants in Toronto." That's the difference between being found and being invisible. That's the foundation. Now regarding the belief that usually goes with it: your visibility problem has nothing to do with the quality of your services. It's simply due to your website not communicating well with Google (yet!). That's fixable, I've seen it turn around fast (few weeks to 2 months), even for websites that have been sitting on page 3 (or lower) for years. That's exactly what I teach inside Sold Out SEO.
