Post LinkedIn lead magnet · Revenue growth

My most viral Linkedin post got 198 comments. It was also a total flop. It drove $0 in business. Why? When you write for virality, you’re writing for the largest possible audience. → That’s top-of-funnel content. Top-of-funnel content works for: • Growing your audience • Building reach • Looking “big” and important But here’s the catch: → It doesn’t convert. The posts that actually bring in clients are bottom-funnel. They: • Speak directly to your ICP • Filter out most of LinkedIn • Attract fewer comments and likes And that’s the point. Because the people who do engage? They’re the ones most likely to become clients. I literally had the CEO of a unicorn company DM me on a post that had 14 likes. So while my most viral post looked successful… I got a bunch of new followers, a big dopamine hit, and yes I called my mom to tell her, it didn't drive revenue. 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗗? You don’t need to be viral to be successful on LinkedIn. In fact, that's literally not the goal. If you want 5 more days of actionable tips to grow your brand on LI comment below or shoot me a DM.
