Service business

You’ve spent time and money on your website, but it's not bringing you as many clients as you know it could (and should!) Maybe you rewrote pages or you hired someone who told you “it just needs time.” But here we are... and it’s still not doing most of your marketing. Before you assume your website is useless, here’s what usually goes wrong. 1) No one has ever explained to you what was being changed or why. You got "jargonish" updates you couldn’t translate into real life, nothing related to bookings or inquiries. 2) The focus was on numbers instead of outcomes. More visitors, better scores, cool. But what about the increase in calls, email subscribers, or actual bookings. 3) Your business was treated like a file among others. But a local service business' website doesn't work the same way as a 100% online business website. If the same approach was used for both, the results were doomed. 4) The work was delivered and then abandoned. No checking what people actually did on your site or adjusting once real behavior showed up. 5) Expectations were set wrong from the start. Websites don’t flip a switch overnight, but they also shouldn’t sit dead for years. The real progress I've seen for my clients (and myself) starts within a few weeks when the right things are fixed. 6) Your site wasn’t built or written around how people actually search. It was built and written based on how you describe your work and what sounds professional. But not for the messy, imperfect phrases people use when they need help now. Websites work when they’re built to be found and understood at the exact moment someone is ready. Most websites I see don’t need a redesign. They need clarity, direction, and a few intentional fixes. DM me “AUDIT” and I’ll tell you exactly what’s holding your site back and how you can fix it, whether we work together or not.
