Some AI Engineers in US are paid an upwards of $1 million / year. If you're an engineer looking to crack it, start with these 10 projects: P.S. I keep sharing such resources and hacks for using Claude Code here: https://lnkd.in/dcibJhzQ (Already joined by 160K+ AI/ML Engineers) 1. Vibe Code a Full App (Lovable) > Build a job tracker using plain English prompts > Learn to communicate with AI before you build AI > Your output quality = your input quality 2. Web App with Claude Code > Bookmark manager with auth, search, deployment > Write tests first, then implement until they pass > Learn to actually review AI-generated code 3. Mobile App with Cursor + Expo > Receipt scanner using camera + Claude's vision > Same skills, different platform. Versatility wins 4. First LLM Integration > Writing coach with streaming and diff views > Most AI apps are wrappers with a good system prompt 5. Document Q&A with RAG > Knowledge base with chunking, embeddings, vector search > Every answer includes citations. Trust requires receipts 6. ReAct Agent Loop From Scratch > Research agent with zero frameworks. Raw API calls > This separates people who use agents from those who understand them 7. Build an MCP Server > MCP is USB-C for AI agents — one protocol, everything connects > Build your own to understand how it actually works 8/ Calendar & Email Agent > Real OAuth + Google Calendar integration > Human-in-the-loop: agent drafts, human approves 9. Proactive Agent with Triggers > Inbox concierge that auto-classifies 200+ emails > Proactive agents need more guardrails — no one's there to say "are you sure?" 10. Production Agent with Observability > Add tracing, evals, cost tracking, and alerting > Best agent in the world is useless if it breaks at 3am unnoticed Comment "Project" to get the detailed explanation of these projects :) And you'll receive the guide in 48 hours.

I built the same app with 4 AI's. Who built it best? Here are the results. The test: Build a client management dashboard for a digital agency. Using the exact same prompt for each. Ranking based on: > UI/Design > Logic & Functionality > Backend/Database > Ease of Use Let's break it down: Tool 1: Bolt ⏱️ Time: 10-15 min (slower) 🎨 Design: 6.5/10 - Basic, but functional ⚙️ Logic: 7/10 - Everything worked 🗄️ Backend: 8/10 - Seamless Supabase integration, built-in security scanner 🧭 Ease of use: 7.5/10 Solid all-around. Nothing flashy, nothing broken. Tool 2: Base44 ⏱️ Time: Few minutes 🎨 Design: 6.5/10 - Very "vibe coded" looking ⚙️ Logic: 7/10 - Did the job 🗄️ Backend: 8/10 - Auto-built Google auth which was nice 🧭 Ease of use: 6.5/10 - UI feels clunky The underdog. Works, but feels like it's playing catch-up on polish. Tool 3: Replit ⏱️ Time: 20-30 min 🎨 Design: 7.5/10 - Actually tried to match the reference ⚙️ Logic: 7/10 - Standard 🗄️ Backend: 6/10 - Confusing, hard to navigate 🧭 Ease of use: 3/10 One prompt and I hit usage limits. Couldn't even continue building. Brutal experience. Tool 4: Lovable ⏱️ Time: ~5 min (fastest) 🎨 Design: 7/10 - Cleanest, most polished ⚙️ Logic: 7.5/10 - Smart intuition (reminded me to create clients before projects) 🗄️Backend: 8/10 - Seamless with options 🧭 Ease of use: 9/10 Just works. Everything feels intuitive. Final rankings: 🥇 Lovable - Best overall experience 🥈 Bolt - Reliable second 🥉 Base44 - Needs polish 4️⃣ Replit - Stuck in no-man's land The truth? They're all using the same AI models. The difference is UX. Key takeaway: These tools live or die by ease of use. Replit is caught between "dev tool" and "no-code" - serving neither well. For non-technical builders: Lovable or Bolt. For technical folks: Just use Cursor. Full video breakdown on my channel. Comment "Ranking" for the link, or search on YT.
