Here's the 12-point system I use to turn profiles into lead magnets: 1. PROFILE PHOTO → Clear headshot → Neutral background → Face dominates frame → Instant recognition 2. HEADLINE Stop listing what you do. Start stating what you deliver. Formula: "I help [who] get [result] using [method]" Add credibility through numbers. 3. ABOUT SECTION Clarity beats cleverness. → Who you help → Problem you solve → Why you're credible → What to do next End with a CTA. 4. SKILLS SECTION → Choose 3–5 niche-aligned skills → Remove generic ones → Match client language LinkedIn search is skill-driven. 5. EXPERIENCE Focus on results, not tasks: → What you built → Who it helped → Results created → Proof (metrics) Structure: Result → Process → Evidence 6. CERTIFICATIONS Claims don't convert. Evidence does. Add: → Client wins → Testimonials → Case studies → Performing posts 7. CUSTOM URL Use: linkedin.com/in/yourname No numbers. No clutter. 8. FEATURED SECTION Your landing page. Add: → Lead magnet → Best post → Case study → "How I help" link This decides: follow or exit. 9. KEYWORDS Place naturally in: → Headline → About → Experience → Skills Visibility is intentional. 10. BANNER State clearly: Who you help + Result you create Optional: Social proof or CTA 11. RECOMMENDATIONS Aim for 5+ strong ones. Ask clients to include: → Results → Timeline → Experience working together Pin the best. 12. CREATOR MODE Turn it on. → Add topics → Switch to "Follow" → Link your offer Turns views into followers. If your profile isn't working, it's rarely the content. It's the positioning. Your LinkedIn should work while you sleep. Most don't they look like resumes, not revenue engines.
