Picture this... Two coaches launch the exact same: • Offer • At the same price point • To the same audience size Coach A makes $3,000 Coach B makes $15,000 The difference isn't their expertise It's not their audience It's frame control Coach A: The Commodity Approach Sends an email: "Hey everyone, I'm opening enrollment for my coaching program next Tuesday. Here are the details, here are the benefits, here's the price." Tuesday comes. Doors open. Then they wait. The response is crickets. By Thursday, panic sets in. They send another email with the same details. They're begging people to buy. Result: $3,000 and a bruised ego. Coach B: The Authority Approach Takes a completely different path. Sends a thoughtful email about a conversation they had with a struggling client. • Real problem • Real insight • Real value No pitch. Just genuine help. And a "P.S." P.S. "This conversation inspired me to create something that solves this exact problem. Reply 'INTERESTED' if this would help you too." 60 replies flood their inbox. Two days later: "I got an overwhelming response to Tuesday's email. This inspired me to put together something even bigger than I originally planned. I'm creating a pre-registration list. As a bonus, pre-registered people get an extra one-on-one call with me." 100 people pre-register. Final email: "Due to the response, I'm limiting this to 10 spots only. Pre-registered people get first access Monday morning - with their bonus. Everyone else gets access Tuesday - without the bonus." • Monday morning: 6 spots gone in 3 hours • Thursday: Remaining 4 spots filled • Friday: 3 more people wanting in Coach B lets them in at 10% higher price. Result: $15,000 and a waitlist for the next round. Here's the lesson: Stop launching like you're applying for permission. Start creating demand before revealing the offer. Your audience doesn't want another program. They want to be part of something exclusive. They want to feel chosen. That's the difference between begging and building Between commodity and authority.
